For over seven years I have been working as a professional graphic designer helping clients with their Web, identity and print design needs. I consider myself extremely lucky to be able to say that I truly love what I do for a living. My goal is to assist businesses and individuals in the creation of print materials and Web sites that best represent their business identity.
Although I enjoy working with print, I am increasingly drawn to the use of the Web as a medium. Over the course of the last four years, I have studied many aspects of Web development including information architecture, usability, content development, Standards Compliant coding and XHTML. I have also been trained in search engine optimization and search engine marketing. Along with my information technology skills, I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in graphic design from Castleton State College in Vermont. The combination of these skills allows me to create visually engaging design packages and to maximize my clients' visibility in the marketplace.
When I'm not creating, I'm either spending time with my loving wife and beagle in Montpelier, Vermont, strumming my guitar (Washburn J6), sipping a tasty stout, or watching the 2004 World Champion Boston Red Sox. And sometimes, I enjoy all of these things at once.
